  1. Average local temperature increases with the amount of clothing packed.
  2. Tent stakes come only in the quantity ‘N-1’ where N is the number of stakes necessary to stake down a tent.
  3. Fuel in sealed bottles spontaneously evaporates.
  4. Fuel in stove reservoirs evaporates 10x as fast as fuel in sealed bottles.
  5. All available humidity and moisture will congregate on match heads.
  6. If no match heads are in the vicinity, all moisture will congregate inside waterproof clothing.

Virtual Scouting Plan

Hello Scouts and parents, since you can’t come to the Scouting program right now, we’re going to bring it to you.

  • We will start doing virtual meetings at 7pm on Tuesdays; Terry will send a TEAMS invite
    • Meetings will have themed topics and we’ll work on incorporating a virtual game towards the end
    • Following this, we’ll do weekly report out’s of rank progress during our meeting
  • Scouts are encouraged to work on advancement in between meetings and can reach out if they need help
  • Check scouts302.com for any updates; We will also utilize email
  • There will be some weekly challenges of things to do between meetings
  • Anytime you are working on scoutstuff, utilize #scoutingathome if you post on social media
  • We will notify you of virtual Merit Badge sessions. It is on you if you want to participate
